A Note to the Virus

Dear COVID-19, what have you done?

Final year at uni, and now we have none.

We have all run away from this weird disease,

and come back home to our families.

While this was fun for a bit and we had Mother’s Day,

We ask you nicely to please go away.

Please disappear so we can get some results,

Before we turn into proper adults!

We will stay indoors for as long as you need,

Only if you promise we can go back to Leeds!
